Job summary

OT Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee comprehensive maintenance of the apartment community. The role involves multi-trade work including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting, with duties spanning repairs to structures and appliances, unit make-ready, and on-call emergency maintenance.

The technician will schedule preventative maintenance, perform grounds work, and coordinate special projects as directed, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained living

Qualifications

Maintains a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and coworkers.
Possesses the necessary tools to complete listed tasks effectively.
Follows oral and written instructions and maintains cooperative working relationships.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting tasks.
Repair and treat structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and exteriors.
Make ready units and repair appliances as needed.
Respond to 24-hour emergency maintenance calls.
Schedule and complete a preventative maintenance program.
Perform grounds work including cleanup, sweeping, and light landscaping.
Coordinate special projects as directed.
