Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a maintenance technician for a housing complex to perform apartment maintenance, turns, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and safety tasks, lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders as needed.

You will respond to service requests, maintain common areas, assist with evictions, and participate in preventative maintenance, with EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in occupied apartments and prepare vacants for leasing.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, including repairs and replacements.
• Carpentry and painting tasks: drywall, doors, trim, cabinets, and tile.
• Maintain common areas and exterior lighting; handle grounds duties.
• Preventative maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment.
• Complete municipal/building inspector requirements; report issues to management.
• On-call after-hours for emergencies and overtime when needed.
