Job summary

Duck Energy Corporation Buck Combined Cycle Plant in Salisbury, NC seeks a multiskilled maintenance technician qualified in both instrumentation, controls and electrical and in mechanical maintenance. You will monitor equipment, troubleshoot plant systems, support startups/shutdowns, and follow safety and environmental procedures in a team-based plant setting.

Ideal candidate is safety-focused, technically capable, and able to learn quickly to support routine, planned, and emergent maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrates mechanical, electrical or L&C experience.
• Effective communication skills, oral and written.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills with windows apps and emails.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on power plant equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• conduct calibration and inspection of pumps, valves, and auxiliaries.
• Operate plant start-ups/shutdowns following procedures.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and Lock-Out-Tag-Out programs.
• Read technical manuals and electrical/mechanical drawings.
