TC Energy is hiring a multiskilled Mechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and operate natural gas compressor station equipment. You will work with minimal supervision, conducting preventive maintenance, engine overhauls, and troubleshooting of control systems while coordinating with contractors and gas control.

This role requires a safety-focused mindset, the ability to interpret blueprints, and experience in energy infrastructure.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in gas engines, compressors and automatic control equipment.
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out (LOTO) procedures.
• Ability to read piping operating drawings.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Relevant natural gas or energy industry experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, overhaul and repair of compressor station equipment, including dismantling, inspecting, repairing and realigning parts.
• Troubleshoot automatic control systems (electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic).
• Operate, train and develop others on facility systems.
• Manage contractors and vendors on site.
• Coordinate maintenance with gas control to optimize operation.
• Complete work orders in SAP and document forms.
• Conduct safety analyses and participate in safety meetings.
