Job summary

TC Energy's USGO Heartland-Rock River Valley Area is seeking a multiskilled Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate natural gas compressor station equipment. The role requires a self-starter with strong problem solving and the ability to work with minimal supervision; overtime and on-call shifts may be required.

You will log work orders in SAP, coordinate with contractors, and participate in safety programs; a high school diploma and related industry experience are required,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated related industry experience.
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out (LOTO) procedures.
• Experience with gas engines and compressors preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, overhaul and repair of compressor station equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
• Manage contractors on-site and coordinate with gas control.
• Enter maintenance data into SAP and complete work orders.
