Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Maintenance Tech to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain operations and production equipment in a full‑time, first‑shift role in Alabama. The position focuses on diagnosing issues with welders, torches, saws, and finishing equipment, with preferred experience in sand blast, powder coat, ovens, and conveyors.

Compliance with safety and 5S practices is essential. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in machine operation/repair and welding.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in machine operation and repair preferred.
• Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems preferred.
• Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment.
• Able to safely use basic hand tools and power tools; welding or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Diagnose issues with welders, torches, saws and metal finishing equipment; sand blast/coat/oven/conveyor experience preferred.
• Diagnose/maintain/install production hoists and overhead doors as needed.
• Operate fork trucks and electrical/mechanical systems safely; read manuals and drawings.
• Support safety, housekeeping and 5S standards; follow daily schedule and production goals.
