Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a field-service oriented technician to troubleshoot and repair electronically controlled equipment used in a metal fabrication environment, including lasers, press brakes and robotics.

The role requires interface with remote service support for problem solving and equipment repairs; perform corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns. Safety is emphasized with PPE and compliance to LO TO, confined spaces, etc.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot electronically controlled equipment in metal fabrication.
• Interface with remote service support for problem solving and repairs.
• Repair industrial manufacturing equipment safely and timely, with corrective actions.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and sound decision-making.
• Experience with 3-phase electrical systems up to 480VAC.
• Maintain safety by using PPE and following L.O.T.O. and Confined Space rules.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues on electronically controlled equipment used in a metal fabrication environment such as lasers, brake presses, robots, etc…
• Interface with remote service support for problem solving and equipment repairs.
• Possess the ability to perform repair tasks on industrial manufacturing equipment and building systems in a safe and timely manner, and to implement corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns.
• Capable of working alone with minimal direct supervision – a self-motivated individual with safe working habits and sound decision-making skills is a must.
• Experience working with 3 phase electrical systems up to 480VAC.
• Must have a focus on performing the job safely: use of all required PPE, following all safety rules and policies including L.O.T.O., Confined Space, etc.
• Prefer candidates with electrical experience
