Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Alabama operation. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, welders, conveyors, and related machinery to keep lines running.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, safely operating forklifts, and performing electrical and mechanical maintenance while following safety rules. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to 5S standards, and the ability to read manuals and technical drawings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in machine operation and repair preferred.
• Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems preferred.
• Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production equipment and welders.
• Diagnose issues with welding, torches, saws, and metal finishing equipment.
• Safely operate fork trucks and perform electrical/mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to safety rules and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Read work orders, frame prints and measurements; use basic tools to complete tasks.
