Astoria Senior Living in Omaha, NE is seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to keep building systems running smoothly. This full-time role involves plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

You will collaborate with contractors and your team, assist with after-hours needs, and help keep residents' living spaces welcoming and well-maintained. Agemark values a Great Place to Work and EPIC ACTS standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance, handyman, building repair, or facilities experience.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers or general building systems.
• Enjoys diagnosing issues and finding practical fixes.
• Willingness to switch between projects and learn new skills.
• Reliable and takes pride in completing quality work.
• Friendly, respectful, and supportive when helping others.
• Willingness to assist with after-hours or emergency maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and tackle repairs from leaky faucets to electrical issues and general maintenance.
• Assist with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, boilers, and other building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to catch small problems early.
• Handle a variety of projects and maintenance requests daily.
• Prepare resident apartments to be safe, comfortable, and welcoming.
• Maintain safety through inspections, repairs, and checks.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and teammates on larger projects.
• Build positive relationships with residents and contribute to a great living environment.
