Valmont Industries, Inc. in Steele, AL seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd or 3rd shift. You will perform routine and scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and inspects equipment to ensure safe operation.

You may install or replace components and operate forklifts or overhead cranes as needed. The role requires two years of hands-on maintenance experience, strong detail orientation, and the ability to follow procedures, with training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Mechanically and technically inclined preferred.
• Computer skills (Word, Outlook) and ability to read instructions.
• Able to read, write and perform simple mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Perform industrial maintenance using tools and equipment across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, electronics, welding, etc.
