Job summary

Jobot in Alabama is seeking an Electromechanical Technician on 1st or 2nd shift to maintain and repair a wide range of equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and PLC systems, plus the ability to read schematics, prioritize safety, and collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
• Technical training in hydraulics or maintenance desirable.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot a wide range of equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery running at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components using schematics and drawings.
• Coordinate with the production team to schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document all maintenance and repair work with accurate records.
