Job summary

Interco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on facility buildings, fixtures, and production equipment. Responsibilities include installing, testing, and troubleshooting machinery and electrical systems to ensure efficient plant operations.

The role requires reading and understanding English, knowledge of 480V electrical systems, and the ability to read schematics. Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus, and the position offers comprehensive company-paid

Qualifications

• Reads, understands, and speaks English.
• Knowledge of single and 3-phase electricity up to 480V; uses multimeter for troubleshooting.
• Reads electrical and hydraulic schematics/diagrams.
• Uses hand and power tools (grinders, saws, drills).
• Able to take direction and communicate clearly with supervisors and peers.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Completion of Industrial Maintenance or 5 years minimum equivalent experience.
• Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair maintenance on machinery, equipment, structures, pipe, and electrical systems.
• Dismantle, install, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.
• Document preventative and repair maintenance as instructed.
• Metal repair and fabrication.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus and components.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work area.
• Display a constructive attitude and support a positive workspace.
• Conduct minor repairs on forklifts, bobcats, and excavators.
