Job summary
milkrite | InterPuls is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to assist with maintaining and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems on production equipment. You will support preventive maintenance, document work orders, and collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
You should have an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent, or 4 years of related experience, plus hands-on experience with PLCs, HVAC, welding, and basic
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent.
- 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with shop tools including PLC programming, grinders, saws, HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical components, basic carpentry.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspects equipment to locate malfunctions.
- Troubleshoots equipment to determine cause of breakdown.
- Dismantles equipment to access problem areas.
- Repairs equipment and tests operation after repair.
- Installs wiring and conduit for new equipment.
- Assists contractors and electricians with wiring and connections.
- Replaces faulty electrical components such as relays and motors.
- Diagnoses and repairs electrical components like PC boards.
- Performs structural repairs to buildings.
- Maintains records in maintenance software and coordinates with supervisor.
