Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to support our property operations in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on keeping all mechanical systems and equipment operational, and ensuring common areas are well-maintained, clean, and disinfected.

The position requires 2-3 years of pool experience and a CPO certification, with responsibilities ranging from inspections and repairs to safety-compliant operations. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs routine walking inspections of floors to identify problems and report them to supervisors.
• Maintains work equipment in good working condition.
• Performs maintenance repairs in common areas such as drywall, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other general tasks.
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• Performs casual labor such as moving heavy items as directed by supervisors.
• Performs maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs as long as a permit is not required.
• Must be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
• Other duties as needed.
