Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to support operations across our properties in Sarasota, FL. You will inspect floors, perform repairs in common areas, and ensure safety and cleanliness while upholding high standards of maintenance.

The role requires CPO certification, 2-3 years pool experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have CPO Certification.
• 2–3 years of pool experience.
• Strong maintenance and repair skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine walking inspections of floors to identify problems and report them to supervisors.
• Maintains work equipment in good working condition.
• Performs maintenance repairs in common areas (drywall, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring).
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• Performs casual labor as directed by supervisors (moving heavy items).
• Performs maintenance replacement and repair in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring (where permits are not required).
• Must be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to use.
• Other duties as needed.
