Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member to ensure all mechanical systems and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role involves routine inspections, minor repairs, painting, and completing daily work orders.

You will need 2+ years in building trades, strong communication skills, and a valid Florida driver’s license. CPO certification is required; schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 2+ years general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Routinely walks floors and reports issues to supervisors.
• Follow safety precautions and maintain safe work environment.
• Maintain relationships with building staff.
• Paint common areas and identify areas needing touch-ups.
• Complete daily work orders as scheduled.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Assist with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building repairs.
• Operate safely and follow safety procedures.
