• Knowledge of general building maintenance methods, PPE, and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance on city facilities, including doors, locks, cabinets, windows, and painting; assist with renovations and remodeling as needed.
• Carry out routine HVAC maintenance and report issues; assist with coordination of specialists for major repairs.
• Conduct minor plumbing and electrical tasks within training and safety guidelines; identify leaks and follow safety requirements.
• Respond to service requests, prioritize safety and urgency, and document work performed and materials used.
• Prepare facilities for meetings and community events; move furniture and set up spaces as required; maintain tools and inventory.
