Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a skilled Service Technician to maintain and improve the physical facilities of an apartment community. You will ensure safety and aesthetic appeal for residents and prospective residents, while assisting the Service Supervisor on various maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or two years related apartment maintenance experience.
• Must be mechanically inclined with knowledge of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, construction and electrical procedures.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to residents in a prompt and professional manner.
• Performs repair work on vacant apartments in a timely fashion.
• Assists Service Supervisor in completing projects.
• Completes service requests in a timely manner.
• Completes preventive maintenance checklist.
• Performs on-call duty for emergencies or when assigned.
• Responsible for interior painting of buildings and amenities.
