Qualifications

• Knowledge of carpentry and locksmith work methods and techniques; database management techniques when installing/repairing electronic locking mechanisms.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and environmental standards and requirements; records maintenance and documentation.
• Knowledge of advanced shop mathematics to plan, compute, and lay out complex projects.
• Skill in cutting and shaping to complete corners; fabricating complex items from various materials.
• Ability to inspect and evaluate structural damage to locking systems and ensure precise fits.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Independently applies skilled methods and advanced math to construct, install, repair, and modify structures.
• Modifies locking devices to meet security objectives in conjunction with other components.
• Manages offline information systems and monitors offline databases for proper operation.
• Maintains safety and a clean work environment and uses and maintains tools and equipment.
