Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, janitorial equipment, and vehicle/grounds systems in our facilities. The role requires performing routine and predictive maintenance, keeping maintenance logs, and communicating complex issues clearly with coworkers and customers.

Tools include hand and power tools, ladders, scissor lifts, and welding; shifts are Monday to Friday

Qualifications

Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent training (plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction).
Two years electrical experience minimum.
High School diploma or GED or equivalent training/experience.
Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills.
Perform routine and predictive maintenance.
Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area.
Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair.
Strong customer service skills.
Communicate complex issues with coworkers and customers professionally.
Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments.
Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures.
Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on floor equipment and cleaners.
Respond positively to requests in a timely manner.
Use hand and power tools, scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding. Soldering and welding a plus.
Maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
