Job summary

Master Lock Company is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure the plant adheres to maintenance principles while working independently with limited supervision. The role includes emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and collaboration on upgrades in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, read blueprints, and support safety practices, with overtime as needed. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity under stress.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.
• Basic machining and welding skills.
• Own hand tools required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout and Hot Work Permits helpful.
• Ability to read blueprints and control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on major repairs, upgrades, and improvements.
• Safely accomplish assigned tasks and maintain safe working practices.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Assist in developing equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies.
• Comply with safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
