Job summary

Alphagraphics South Salt Lake is seeking an Equipment Operator to run machines in the bindery department with cross-training across production areas. You will support customer deadlines, maintain machines, and participate in safety and process improvements.

Onsite role with a structured shift, regular maintenance tasks, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams. Training is provided to enhance skills and contribute to multiple production areas.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and equipment before production runs, ensuring calibration and proper function.
• Monitor machines during production, check for issues and adjust as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs including cleaning and lubricating parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment or escalate issues as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures for a safe work environment.
• Follow production schedules to keep lines running smoothly.
• Record production data and report KPIs to management.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production management.
• Continuously evaluate and improve machine operations for efficiency.
• Participate in training to improve skills and knowledge.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the business.
