AlphaGraphics is seeking a dependable Bindery Specialist for our West Jordan, UT operations. The role operates bindery equipment to finish printed products and prepares them for shipping. You will inspect samples, set up machines, trim, stitch or glue components, and monitor production quality.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with attention to binding quality checks.
• Ability to read work orders and follow specifications.
• Capability to set up and adjust bindery equipment.
• Experience with trimming, stitching, and gluing bindings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine products for defects and ensure quality.
• Read work orders to determine machine setup.
• Install or adjust bindery devices to accommodate sizes.
• Trim edges of books to size using cutting machines.
• Stitch or glue endpapers, bindings, or signatures.
• Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain daily production records.
• Prepare finished jobs for shipping and palletize.
• Operate machines and manage flow/conveyor speed.
• Perform other duties to deliver high-quality output.
