Job summary

Sakataornamentals in Woodland, CA, seeks a Safety & Security Manager to lead companywide safety and security programs protecting people, assets, and operations across Americas region.

You will develop policies, train staff, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement, partnering with site leadership, HR, Legal, IT, Facilities, and vendors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least 5 years of experience, with strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive safety/security experience, multi-site preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA/Cal-OSHA requirements.
• Coordinate companywide safety and security programs, audits, and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety files, training records, and incident tracking.
• Lead training programs and safety committees across sites.
• Inspect facilities for compliance and risk reduction.
• Investigate accidents and analyze data to improve prevention.
