Job summary

Romark Packaging Llc is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to lead strategic and hands-on safety and security programs across 10+ locations in the Northeast and South-Central regions. You will develop robust policies, ensure OSHA compliance, and drive accountable safety performance.

This role requires 5+ years in safety management, strong leadership, and the ability to manage outsourced life-safety vendors while traveling regularly to sites across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing safety management.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Experience developing and implementing multi-site safety programs.
• Proven leadership, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to travel regularly across Northeast and South Central regions.
• Familiarity with physical security systems and protocols; CSP/ASP or OSHA trainer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, programs, and procedures across all sites.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and follow-ups to ensure corrective actions are taken and sustained.
• Partner with site-level champions to drive accountability and ownership.
• Develop and deliver train-the-trainer and training programs on safety awareness, equipment use, and hazard recognition.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Establish metrics and reporting systems to track safety performance and progress.
• Monitor and assess risks related to facility security and coordinate with outsourced providers for life safety systems.
