Jushi Holdings Inc. in the United States seeks a Security Manager to lead enterprise security and asset protection across retail, cultivation, and manufacturing facilities. You will build proactive risk programs, supervise guard services, investigations, and budget performance.

The role partners with Compliance, HR, and Finance to ensure regulatory alignment, deploy surveillance and access control technologies, and drive KPIs that measure security impact for executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in security management or asset protection.
• Cannabis, retail, or highly regulated industry experience preferred.
• Proven success managing guard programs, investigations, and budget oversight.
• Expertise in physical security systems, access control, and surveillance platforms.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills with leadership ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all physical security and asset protection operations within assigned state(s).
• Develop and execute strategies to reduce shrink, deter theft, and protect inventory across the supply chain.
• Conduct routine loss trend analysis and partner with Retail Operations and Finance for actions.
• Drive field-based loss prevention programs that reinforce compliance and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with state cannabis security regulations and company policies on surveillance and access control.
• Lead investigations into theft, diversion, misconduct, or policy violations with confidentiality.
• Document investigative steps and outcomes in the incident reporting system.
• Partner with HR and Compliance to align investigations with policy and employment law.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory agencies when necessary.
• Collaborate to define and execute enterprise security initiatives aligned with goals.
• Develop security standards, training programs, and performance dashboards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to improve security visibility.
• Develop KPIs to measure department impact to executive leadership.
• Oversee contracted guard services and off-duty police coverage with SOP adherence.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and performance evaluations with coaching.
• Ensure vendor licensing, badging, insurance, and post-order compliance.
• Negotiate service contracts with Procurement and Finance; track vendor performance.
• Forecast and track expenses related to guard services and technology.
• Identify cost-optimization opportunities through efficiency or vendor changes.
• Audit compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Ensure surveillance systems meet state and company requirements.
• Lead or support training on robbery response, de-escalation, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain audit and compliance documentation per retention policies.
• Partner with leadership to develop integrated risk mitigation strategies.
• Support security readiness for new store openings, remodels, and relocations.
• Model company values and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Support leadership development through coaching and recognition.
