Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to prepare market-ready apartments, respond to resident service requests, and maintain both grounds and interiors. The role involves plumbing, electrical, and routine repairs, and may include operating HVAC equipment when needed.

Candidates must have a High School diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends and after-hours on-call.

Qualifications

• Hands-on general service maintenance experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs and painting preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation is required if operating a motorized vehicle.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English for work purposes.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift, including weekends.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies after hours and on weekends when on-call.
• Employees may need to use their own smartphone for certain tasks.
• Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all market-ready apartments.
• Responds to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
• Performs various maintenance functions.
• Maintains grounds and common areas and keeps them clean and safe.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Performs scheduled maintenance programs.
• Reports maintenance concerns for repairs.
• Represents the Company professionally at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
