Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or CT CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification or equivalent experience.
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• All credentials must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Vital signs, medication reconciliation, allergies reconciliation and patient history.
• Assist with in-house procedures and point-of-care testing with quality control.
• Administrative duties: scheduling, chart prep, referrals, check-in/out, prior authorizations and transportation facilitation.
• Float to other Hartford HealthCare Medical Group offices as needed.
