Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Multisite) to support Community Managers and Maintenance Supervisors by maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment across communities. The role involves routine upkeep, repairs, and assisting with contracted projects to ensure a safe, clean, and appealing living environment.

You will participate in unit turns, safety trainings, and meetings; develop skills in building systems and maintenance practices, while delivering excellent resident

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
• One year of maintenance experience or a combination of education and training that provides the required skills.
• Basic knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather and environmental conditions.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned communities to provide maintenance coverage.
• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Inspect property to identify maintenance need, determine scope of work, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in adhering to departmental budgets.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Assist with unit turns and preparation for new move-ins.
• Attend and participate in required meetings, safety trainings, and professional development sessions.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
