Job summary

Equity Residential is seeking a Multisite Maintenance Technician to support maintenance across two apartment communities. You will respond to resident service requests, perform make-ready tasks, and handle common area maintenance while delivering exceptional service and professionalism.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, ability to troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility for shifts and on-call hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on general service maintenance experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC equipment (if applicable).
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all market-ready apartments.
• Responds to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
• Performs various maintenance functions.
• Maintains grounds and common areas and keeps them free of trash and debris.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Reports maintenance concerns for repairs to the Service Manager.
• Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.
