Job summary

Vireo Health, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager based at the Palatka production facility to lead maintenance for approximately 15 production machines, diagnose issues in real time, and keep downtime to a minimum.

The role extends across Florida sites, setting standards, training technicians, managing preventive programs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced cannabis production environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in maintenance leadership across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical and building systems.
• Ability to lead, train, and uphold safety standards.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, equipment installation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and maintenance budgets.
• Experience in a warehouse/industrial production environment.
• Cannabis or regulated facilities experience is a plus.
• High attention to detail to meet quality and safety standards.
• Valid Driver's License and MED Badge.
• Willing to submit fingerprints for Level 2 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on maintenance at the Palatka production facility: diagnose, repair, and maintain approximately 15 pieces of production equipment, responding in real time to keep production running.
• Act as escalation point for other Florida sites where maintenance is managed locally.
• Train, develop, and set performance and safety standards for Maintenance Technicians across Florida production sites.
• Build, implement, and manage the preventive maintenance program for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building systems, and equipment.
• Oversee diagnosis and repair of facility systems and coordinate specialty repairs with licensed contractors.
• Plan, budget, and track maintenance spend, parts inventory, and equipment/tooling for Palatka and other sites.
• Source, vet, and manage outside vendors and contractors.
• Establish and enforce safety protocols, PPE requirements, and OSHA-aligned procedures.
• Ensure facilities remain compliant with Florida cannabis regulations and inspections.
• Manage on-call coverage and emergency response at Palatka and regional escalation.
