Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in Columbia, MD is seeking a Mailroom Floater to support our facility operations. You will manage mail, supplies, and general site services across multiple local locations on a 1st shift, on-site basis.

The role requires 1–2 years in mailroom or facilities support, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain security clearance. You’ll travel between sites and contribute to seamless office operations and workplace excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in mailroom operations, facilities support or related customer service roles.
• Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation for travel between sites.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence with white‑glove, professional service in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail operations, sort and distribute mail same-day, process shipments via Fed-Ex, UPS and USPS, and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain facility supplies by stocking copy rooms and servicing equipment, keep break rooms stocked, and ensure daily cleanliness of shared spaces.
• Monitor facility conditions, conduct regular walks, log work orders, and communicate with the Facility Manager on complex issues.
• Log tasks and activities on Volume Reports and submit weekly reports to the Lead for accountability and transparency.
• Provide flexible location coverage by traveling to support mailroom and reception operations at other local sites as needed, and execute move services under the Facility Manager’s direction.
