Job summary

Equity Residential is seeking a Multi-Site Leasing Consultant in Washington, DC to promote our brand and achieve maximum occupancy. You will manage tours, handle leads, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience across assigned communities.

The role allocates about 60% to sales/tours, 30% to resident relations, and 10% to leasing administration; weekend availability, strong communication, and knowledge of housing laws are essential. Reporting to Community/Area Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• Sales and Customer Service experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation is required if the employee will operate a motorized vehicle during workday.
• Computer literacy and effective communication skills in English.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Equity Residential's brand.
• Coordinates schedule for dedicated onsite presence at properties based on occupancy goals.
• Manages leads and customer experience using CRM at assigned communities.
• Completes CRM tasks within the appropriate time frame.
• Promotes communities based on prospective residents' needs.
• Manages Tour Schedules and inspects tour path daily.
• Employs selling techniques to close the sale.
• Cross-sells within communities to meet residents' needs.
• Maintains knowledge of all aspects of the community.
• Supports the community's marketing efforts.
• Monitors trends to prepare for future occupancy needs.
• Provides leadership to Leasing Consultants.
