Job summary

Equity Residential in San Diego is seeking a Multi-site Leasing Consultant to promote our brand and drive occupancy across properties. You will lead tours, manage leads in the CRM, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.

The role blends sales, resident relations, and leasing administration, with schedule coordination, event support, and compliance with housing laws. Strong English communication and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Sales and Customer Service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance and reliable transportation if operating a vehicle.
• Computer literacy and effective communication in English.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Own smartphone for certain job aspects; updated software and security compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds for documents and materials.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Equity Residential's brand.
• Coordinates onsite presence at properties based on occupancy needs.
• Manages leads and customer experience using the CRM.
• Completes CRM tasks in a timely manner.
• Promotes communities based on prospect needs.
• Manages tour schedules.
• Inspects ready product and tour path daily.
• Uses selling techniques to close the sale.
• Cross-sells within and across communities.
• Maintains knowledge of all aspects of the community.
• Supports marketing efforts and monitors trends.
• Provides leadership to Leasing Consultants.
• Assists residents with payments and account inquiries.
• Communicates with service/office teams and residents.
• Coordinates resident events; may occur evenings/weekends.
• Prepares leasing documents and postings.
• Verifies move-in files are complete.
• Completes required training and complies with fair housing laws.
• Represents the company professionally.
