Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking a Multisite HR Manager to partner with operations leadership across multiple plants and about 275 employees. The role balances strategic HR leadership with hands-on employee and labor relations, focusing on engagement, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.

The position requires managing union and non-union environments, supporting talent development, performance coaching, investigations, and compliance across sites in Florida and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting multiple facilities and geographically dispersed leadership.
• Experience supporting union and non-union workforces.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor relations, and employment law.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and coaching leaders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Strategic business partnership with plant leadership and functional leaders.
• Lead labor and employee relations across union and non-union sites.
• Talent management, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Compensation, market pricing, and workforce analytics collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and safety standards.
• HR operations, process improvement and data reporting across sites.
