Job summary

Thrive Communities seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our floating team across Washington. You will perform unit turns, routine maintenance, and repairs, coordinating with leasing staff and managers to keep properties running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1+ year prior experience in a maintenance role, preferably in the property management industry.
• Proficient in unit turns and appliance repair
• Must have basic computer skills with the ability to input data and notes in English into software programs
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is a plus
• Must be able to supply own tools
• Drivers license required. Floating role traveling to various locations in Washington.

Responsibilities

• Floating team members are staffed at Thrive properties during busy times, vacancies, or leaves.
• Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders.
• Partners with leasing staff and managers to ensure communication and organization.
• Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Participate in safety meetings and abide by OSHA/SDS requirements.
• Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs.
• Maintains grounds and professional appearance of the property.
• Inspects and coordinates make-ready repairs and services.
• Strives to exceed residents’ expectations for excellent customer service.
