Job summary

Thrive Communities in Seattle, WA seeks a Maintenance Technician to support busy properties. This full-time, in-person role covers unit turns, preventative maintenance, and repairs, while collaborating with leasing staff to keep communities well cared for.

You will follow safety rules, maintain grounds, respond to resident needs, and travel to multiple locations as required. A valid driver’s license and basic English data entry skills are needed; CAMT/CPO is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year maintenance experience, preferably in property management.
• Must be able to supply own tools.
• Driver's license and ability to travel to multiple Seattle-area properties.

Responsibilities

• Floating team members are staffed at Thrive properties during busy times and vacancies.
• Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders.
• Partners with leasing staff and managers to ensure seamless communication.
• Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Participate in safety meetings and abide by OSHA/SDS safety requirements.
• Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
• Maintains grounds and professional appearance of the property.
• Inspects and coordinates needed repairs and services.
• Strives to exceed residents’ expectations for excellent customer service.
