Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our property portfolio in Washington and Vancouver. You will perform unit turns, routine maintenance, safety tasks, and coordinate with leasing staff to ensure seamless turnovers.

This full-time role requires 1+ years of maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work after hours as needed. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within Thrive Communities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience, preferably in property management.
• Experience with unit turns, work orders, and appliance repair.
• Basic English data entry into software systems.
• CAMT and CPO certifications are a plus.
• Must supply own tools and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks such as unit turns and work orders.
• Partners with leasing staff and managers to ensure seamless communication and organization.
• Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools.
• Participates in safety meetings and abides by OSHA/SDS safety requirements.
• Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
• Maintains grounds and professional appearance of the property.
• Inspects and coordinates needed make-ready repairs and services.
• Emergency on-call is required as part of the position.
• Strives to exceed residents’ expectations for excellent customer service.
• Performs all additional duties assigned by Direct Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager, or Regional team member.
