Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment at multiple facilities, including minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting tasks. Some janitorial duties may be assigned.

The role requires coordinating with contractors and staff, inspecting for faults, and maintaining inventory and records of scheduled maintenance. Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with paid holidays per location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in building and equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate with various levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment, including minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, glazing, masonry and painting.
• Coordinate with contractors and parish staff for care of facilities and events.
• Inspect buildings, diagnose problems, and perform repairs; maintain inventory and records of maintenance procedures.
