Job summary

Eastern Bank is seeking a Facilities Technician to support a portfolio of 25–30 locations in Rhode Island. You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and collaborate with Facilities Managers to ensure safety, compliance, and smooth daily operations.

This role requires a high school diploma and 5+ years in facilities maintenance, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience across multiple buildings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Vocational training or related field experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance for 25–30 buildings with monthly site visits.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in coordination with Facilities Manager.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections; maintain accurate records.
• Respond to maintenance requests and communicate with branch staff and managers.
• Lift and move heavy objects; work in varied environments and conditions.
