Job summary

Eastern Bank is seeking a Facilities Technician to service a portfolio of 25–30 locations. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and related equipment to keep facilities safe and compliant.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 5+ years in facilities maintenance across multiple buildings. You will work in a dynamic team with on-call responsibilities and physical lifting duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance within a multi-building portfolio.
• Some vocational training or experience in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance of 25–30 buildings in a defined area with monthly visits.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment.
• Make repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and hanging tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to keep facilities and equipment in good working order.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify potential problems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes; maintain records of inspections and repairs.
• Clean and general upkeep: mop, vacuum, dust, and keep areas contract standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and communicate with facilities managers and staff.
