Job summary

Child Care Action Council is seeking a dedicated ECEAP Floater Teacher to support Mason and Thurston counties, delivering developmentally appropriate activities and ensuring continuity when regular teachers are absent. You will supervise, guide, and assess preschool-aged children across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, family support specialists, and leadership to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment aligned with DCYF and ECEAP standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and two years of early childhood experience required.
• Experience with ECEAP, Head Start, or state Pre-K programs preferred.
• Must meet DCYF and ECEAP health, safety, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction and classroom support across CCAC ECEAP sites, stepping in as needed.
• Follow established lesson plans, routines, and guidance from supervisors, adjusting to children’s needs.
• Maintain active supervision and a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Communicate with Center Supervisors and families about classroom updates and student progress.
