Job summary

Riverfront Children's Center is seeking a Support-Floater Teacher to assist in Early Childhood Education/Care classrooms. The role emphasizes a safe, engaging environment and daily parent communication, with coverage support as needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, pass a CT background check, and are prepared to obtain CT child first aid/CPR and Medication Administration certifications. The position runs 40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required.
• Experience with children or strong customer service background.
• Physical exam documentation at hire, repeated every two years.
• CT child first aid and Infant/Child CPR certification required or obtainable.
• Medication Administration certification required or obtainable.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform movement tasks.
