Job summary

Child Care Action Council in Washington state seeks a dedicated Full Time ECEAP Floater Teacher to support CCAC ECEAP centers across Mason and Thurston counties for the 26‑27 school year. You will provide classroom coverage, support instruction, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment for preschool children at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and two years of early childhood experience.
• Experience with DCYF licensing, health, safety, and training requirements.
• Knowledge of ECEAP Performance Standards, Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and Second Step.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction and classroom support at CCAC ECEAP sites, including coverage for absent teachers.
• Maintain active supervision and a safe environment during all activities and transitions.
• Foster positive family partnerships and clear communication with caregivers across sites.
• Complete required documentation and support program operations and quality improvement efforts.
