Job summary

Hill Country Health & Wellness Center seeks an experienced Dental Front Office Float to support front desk operations at the Round Mountain and Redding locations. The role handles appointments, patient data, insurance processing, and referrals.

Responsibilities include scheduling, patient registration, payments, and chart audits while coordinating with dental staff and management to meet daily targets and care standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus some college coursework and two years related experience.
• Familiar with dental procedures, terminology, and regulations.
• CPR certificate preferred; CA driver license required.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office; Centricity or dental software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dental front office operations at Round Mountain and or Redding locations.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; register patients and verify insurance data.
• Process referrals and coordinate with external providers as needed.
• Manage payments and balance cash drawer; maintain chart audits and patient records.
• Support front office team; attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to process improvements.
