Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Practice Clinical Assistant Float to join Team Bronson. The role provides general support to Medical Assistants and practice staff, including room preparation, data entry and coordination of tests and referrals across multiple sites.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and strong communication, problem-solving and confidentiality skills. You will float between clinics in Kalamazoo, Calhoun, and Van Buren Counties, with a standard 40-hour work week

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, doctors and staff.
• Ability to input and retrieve data from the organization's computerized systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for visit including histories, vital signs and routine testing.
• Input data from patient questionnaires and chart reviews.
• Set up rooms for procedures and assist with instruments.
• Act as chaperone for providers and maintain chart documentation.
• Coordinate tests and referrals and schedule within EMR system.
• Assist with patient check-in/out and appointment scheduling.
