Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Practice Clinical Assistant Float to support multiple medical office practices in Kalamazoo, Calhoun, and Van Buren Counties. This full-time position involves assisting providers, preparing patients for visits, and maintaining room readiness and documentation in the EMR system.

As a float, you will work under the direction of a provider, rotate between sites, and need strong communication, confidentiality, and teamwork to ensure high quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Experience inputting data in computerized systems.
• Ability to assist with scheduling and EMR entries.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support for the Medical Assistant and practice.
• Prepare patients for visits, including vitals and routine tests.
• Input data and set up rooms for procedures.
• Act as a chaperone for providers and assist with scheduling.
• Maintain documentation standards and review charts.
• Coordinate tests and referrals across departments as needed.
• Float between practices with potential short-notice rotations.
