Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a Client Access Representative to float among Independence and surrounding clinics. This full-time role handles scheduling, registration, insurance verification, payments, and administrative support to ensure smooth front-office operations.

You will be the first contact for clients, coordinating with clinicians while maintaining accurate records and a welcoming environment. Travel between locations is required based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• : High school diploma or GED required.
• : Six months of customer service experience required.
• : Experience in medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• : Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• : Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• : Welcome and assist clients, families, and visitors with a professional, friendly experience.
• : Schedule appointments, verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and coordinate referrals.
• : Register clients by verifying demographic information and documentation.
• : Manage changes, cancellations, and no-show processes.
• : Document client information in EMR accurately.
• : Collect payments, issue receipts, and balance daily records.
• : Answer calls and direct inquiries to the proper department.
• : Maintain clean, welcoming reception and waiting area.
• : Support quality improvement and administrative projects.
