Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs seeks a Multi-Site Childcare Director to oversee after-school programs across two Vermont locations. The role blends leadership with hands-on engagement to maintain proper staffing ratios and high-quality programming.

You will lead Site Directors, ensure regulatory readiness with VT DCF, and drive enrollment health while coordinating operations across sites. This position prioritizes collaboration and program quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 12 months direct work experience with school-age children.
• Vermont credentials or licensure listed in requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple school-based programs and ensure high-quality programming.
• Coach Site Directors and staff through regular site visits.
• Maintain licensing readiness and VT DCF compliance.
• Manage staffing schedules and maintain required staff-to-child ratios.
• Support enrollment growth and family engagement.
