Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs seeks a Multi-Site Childcare Director to oversee after school programs at two Vermont locations. This hybrid leadership + hands-on role involves supporting Site Directors, working with children to maintain staffing ratios, and ensuring high-quality programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required; Master’s preferred.
• Direct work experience with school-age children preferred (12+ months).
• Experience supervising staff and implementing high-quality programming.
• Familiarity with VT DCF regulations and licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple sites, staffing, and enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multiple school-based afterschool programs across two VT sites.
• Support Site Directors and staff; ensure staffing ratios meet requirements.
• Oversee staffing recruitment, onboarding, and coverage planning.
• Monitor enrollment trends, family engagement, and community outreach.
• Ensure compliance with VT DCF regulations and organizational policies.
